Café Max was part of the "eMax Group" and was the first of a number of similar cafés that opened in various cities in Russia and the CIS starting in the year 2000.  With the advent of wifi and also smart phones they became outdated and closed down. Currently there is only one now still open, on Nevskiy Prospekt in St Petersburg

On completion this was the largest Internet Café in Eastern Europe with over 300 work stations. The café is located on two floors of the Mayak Building, the home of many of Moscow’s radio stations. The building location is adjacent to the Novokuznetskaya Metro close to the center of Moscow.

Altaca were responsible not only for the fit-out of the café but also for the architectural and engineering design based on a concept provided by our client. The project involved the complete renovation and fit-out of the premises.
