Established in 1944, the World Bank Group is headquartered in Washington, D.C. They have more than 10,000 employees in more than 120 offices worldwide. The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world.
PROJECT
Fit-out of 4 floors to A+ class standard, contract awarded following an international competitive tender. Project completed ahead of schedule in 19 weeks. All Civil, MEP, IT and security works from shell & core. This was the largest fit-out project (for an International Client organisation) awarded in Moscow at that time.
In addition to the standard works for a project of this nature, we designed and custom-built all the glazed partitions installed in the offices. Another feature was the construction of a "safe zone" located on the top floor of the building.
RELATED PROJECT
Following the completion we were awarded a follow-on project to fit-out new offices of 600 m2 for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group, located in a separate building on Novy Arbat.
